Shane set up the Guinness Ventures team in 2010 and has led it since, building the business to over 5,000 investors and a portfolio of more than 50 growth companies. Before Guinness he spent four years at Northland Capital Partners advising growth companies, and earlier still was based in Gibraltar with Trafalgar Financial Futures from 2002 to 2006. Shane began his career in 1996 at HSBC Investment Bank, working in the Telecoms & Technology team. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder.
